This July, Mon Sherrie will be attending Anime Midwest, one of the largest anime conventions in Chicago. You can register online (click HERE to get your tickets).This three-day event focuses on video gaming, Japanese anime, Japanese manga, and bringing authentic Japanese culture and anime to life.

- Masquerade. Cosplayers can enter a competition at Anime Midwest! All winners, including the Best In Show (Grand Prize) and Best In Each Category will receive free admission to next year's convention, and possibly additional sponsored prizes. See cosplay contest details HERE).
- Video Game Tournaments is a fun way to meet competitive gamers in the local area. Anime Midwest may not be determined until about a week or two prior to the convention; however, Mortal Kombat is a popular game.
